We say goodbye to the Nile and drive further east toward the Kenyan border, watching the landscape transform into the dramatic, rolling foothills of Mount Elgon. We arrive in Kapchorwa and check into a lodge perched on the edge of a cliff with panoramic views of the Karamoja plains. In the afternoon, you will join a local family for an immersive coffee tour. You will pick, husk, roast, and brew your own cup of organic Arabica coffee right in their backyard.

Lace up your hiking boots. Today, a local guide will lead you on a spectacular trek to the three main waterfalls that make up Sipi Falls. The hike takes you through local banana plantations, up steep mountain trails, and even into a hidden cave directly behind a roaring 100-meter waterfall. It is a photographer's absolute dream. After a full day of hiking in the crisp mountain air, return to the lodge for a hearty dinner and a quiet evening overlooking the valley.
