After an early breakfast, enter Kibale Forest to track wild Chimpanzees. Watch these energetic primates swing through the canopy, hunt, and socialize. In the afternoon, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying a brief evening game drive as you head to your lodge.

Rise at dawn for a classic African game drive on the Kasenyi plains. Look out for lions, leopards, elephants, and massive herds of Uganda Kob. In the afternoon, embark on the famous Kazinga Channel boat cruise, offering spectacular close-up photography of hippos, crocodiles, and hundreds of bird species.

We drive south through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This region is globally renowned for its unique tree-climbing lions. Keep your eyes on the ancient fig trees! We then continue our ascent into the Kigezi Highlands, arriving at your Bwindi Impenetrable Forest lodge by evening.

Today is the day. After a ranger briefing, hike into the ancient Bwindi rainforest. The trek is challenging but deeply rewarding. Once you locate your assigned gorilla family, you will spend exactly one hour observing them in total silence. Return to the lodge to celebrate this bucket-list achievement.

After the rigorous jungle trek, enjoy a slow morning. We take a short drive to Lake Bunyonyi, Africa’s second-deepest lake. Spend the afternoon relaxing, swimming in the bilharzia-free waters, or taking a dugout canoe to explore the historical islands.

After breakfast, we begin the scenic drive back to Entebbe. We will stop at the Uganda Equator monument for lunch, souvenir shopping, and the mandatory "one foot in each hemisphere" photo. Your guide will drop you at Entebbe International Airport in time for your evening departure flight.
